Seven.
I can't really believe it.
You're now a 2nd grader. You've lost 6 teeth. You love Mega Bloks Halo Sets, Legos, and anything with wheels. Your obsession this summer will be Cars 2. Your NASCAR obsession seems to be waning, and your interest in science seems to be increasing. You're inquisitive and talk a lot about being daring (but you aren't daring at all.) You are more an observer with daring dreams. And that's perfectly fine with me. :)
You love Tostino's cheese pizza and can eat an entire one with cinnamon applesauce in one sitting. Ketchup is still it's own food group, and I still think we need to buy stock in Heinz. You've been better about trying new foods, but you still stick to your favorites. Most parents have to tell their children not to eat too many sweets-I had to reprimand you for getting your THIRD yogurt before dinner.(Why, oh why, can't we share a cookie or 2?)
I didn't grow up with siblings, so I had no idea how things were going to go with you and your brother. You 2 have your moments, but you love your brother unconditionally, and my favorite moments are when you show your concern about his feelings or you are trying to make him feel better. If I could bottle those moments I would. You are so much more paitient with Ethan than even I am, and do your best to set a good example. And for that, I am very grateful.
We love you kiddo.
Mommy
